This project involved the full gutting and refurbishment of a consummate Chelsea duplex. From a decorative perspective, the aim was to fuse tradition and modernity. Totally resisting a single design outlook, each room cherry picks elements from disparate disciplines. The use of colour - powder blue, soft raspberry, striking wallpapers and an unconventional pale pink dressing room - all work to upturn expectations, while curated objects and artworks underline the confidence of this client’s taste. One-off ceramics, antiques and textiles add layers and a magpie-like richness.
